Silistra, Bulgaria
Trip to the Grave of the Pele Yoetz – Rabbi Eliezer Papo, Silistra
⏱ Full day
A private ride from Bucharest to the grave of the author of "Pele Yoetz" in Silistra, Bulgaria, including the Danube ferry and the border crossing.
Rabbi Eliezer Papo, author of "Pele Yoetz", is buried in Silistra, Bulgaria, on the bank of the Danube. In the introduction to his book he wrote that whoever comes to his grave and prays with a broken heart will have his prayer accepted, and people come to pray there from all over the world.
The trip leaves Bucharest in a private vehicle, crosses the Danube by ferry and the border into Bulgaria, and waits for you at the grave for up to an hour and a half. After the prayers you return to your pick-up point.
The driver knows the route, the ferry and the border crossing, so you can focus on the prayer.
