A real jump from an aircraft door at about 3,000 metres, harnessed to a certified tandem instructor. 35–45 seconds of freefall, then 5–7 quiet minutes under the canopy above the Brașov valley and the Carpathian mountains.

This is not paragliding. In skydiving you exit a plane at altitude, freefall – and only then the parachute opens. The instructor is attached to you in one harness and controls every stage of the jump, so no experience or licence is needed.

Step by step

How it works

  1. Safety briefing and equipment fitting – 15–20 minutes.
  2. Take-off and climb to jump altitude in a jump plane (Antonov AN-2 or Cessna 208 Caravan – whichever operates that day).
  3. Exit and 35–45 seconds of freefall.
  4. Canopy opens – 5–7 minutes of flight down to a soft landing on the airfield.
  5. A camera flyer jumps with you and films the jump (included in the operator package).
Before you come

Requirements

  • Age 19–60. Ages 14–18 only with notarised consent of both parents. Over 60 – with a medical certificate.
  • Maximum weight 100 kg, maximum height 2.00 m.
  • Basic medical fitness. No alcohol or other substances.
  • You sign the operator's risk declaration at the airfield.
  • Comfortable clothes and closed sports shoes.

Who operates this experience

Moise House (Kosher Romania) acts as an intermediary: we arrange and coordinate the booking for you. The activity itself is carried out by a licensed aviation operator – Aeroclubul României (the Romanian Aero Club) – under its own professional responsibility and terms.

Operator terms

  • The operator's terms, safety rules and the instructions of its staff apply. You sign the operator's risk declaration at the airfield.
  • If postponed because of weather, airspace authorisation or crew availability – a new date is set according to the operator's terms.
  • The operator's cancellation and change terms will be sent to you in writing together with the date and price confirmation – before any payment.
  • The cancellation policies of our restaurants and of the tours on this website do not apply to this experience.

Please read before sending a request: Skydiving in Brașov depends on the availability of the jump teams, the season and the weather. Every request is checked with the operator, and only after the operator confirms an actual jump day for your date will we come back to you with a confirmation and a price.

Location

The aero club airfield in the Brașov area (Aeroclubul României). About an hour's drive from our restaurant and hotel in Predeal (Ski & Sky). The exact address and arrival time are given only after the operator confirms the date.

FAQ

Do I need experience?

No. The instructor is attached to you and controls the jump from exit to landing. You get a full briefing before boarding.

What if the weather is bad?

The jump is moved to another date in coordination with the operator. Jumps only take place in safe conditions.

Can friends come and watch?

Usually spectators can watch the landing from the airfield. We will check with the operator – tell us in the notes how many are coming.

Can I book on Shabbat?

We do not arrange activities on Shabbat.
